A visit from Sheringham Little Theatre actors
In preparation for a school visit to see Jack and the Beanstalk at Sheringham Little Theatre a group of actors came to visit us. They introduced their roles and taught the children songs and 'panto responses'. It was great fun and a brilliant introduction to the real Pantomime [which, by the way was 'fabulous'!]
EEEEK! Christmas Party time and its.....ErpingNam Style dancing!
In July 2011, we held our first activities week. During the week, our children enjoyed painting researched scenes from around our village. Their paintings were influenced by the work of Ken East and supported by local artist Tony Moore. Their work is now integrated into the new Erpingham Village sign.
Erpingham Church by Luke aged 9.
Children from Sheringham and Erpingham practiced alongside each other for individual and team events which were showcased at our Sports Day. The event was brilliantly supported and it was great to see people of all ages encouraging children to enjoy themselves and do their best.
Our French day included a wonderful audience participation assembly, followed by a Samba band.......C'est magnifique!
To round off the week, children and staff trekked the wilds from Erpingham to Aldborough Green using orienteering skills, maps and compasses. Passing through beautiful fields along secluded pathways. The reward at the end was a well earned lunch [and a lift back in the school mini bus].
