Our Walk Round the Village of Erpingham
On Monday 5th July 2010, the whole school went on a walk around our local village, Erpingham. It was lovely to see all that Erpingham has to offer. Artic Class started off in the morning, taking a steady pace until they arrived at Alby Crafts Centre. They were then joined by Amazon Class who took a minibus there (they have shorter legs!). They had a lovely picnic in the fantastic grounds at the Crafts Centre, and we would like to say a special thank you to Mr Alston who runs the Centre as he opened it up especially for us.
From Alby Crafts Centre, the whole school walked through the woods and the fields before arriving at the Children's Book Centre. Here they were read some wonderful stories by Marilyn, who runs the book centre. We would like to say a big thank you to Marilyn for making our time so special. It was amazing to see how many books were on display and we were very impressed that we could go in at any time simply to read the books with our mums and dads.
