Pirate Day!

 Ahoy there my hearties! This term, Amazon Class are studying Pirates as their topic. To start this topic off, we came to school dressed as pirates. We had to complete lots of activities in order to gain our 'pirate licence' and to be allowed to join the 'Jolly Erpingham'!

Some the activities included writing describing words for a very mean looking pirate, thinking about ten things he may find in his pocket, and at the end of the day, we had to walk the plank - blindfolded! It was very scary, especially as the river was full of crocodiles, but the children were very brave, and supported each other throughout. Thankfully, they all managed to earn their licences and have come aboard our ship for the next seven weeks.
