Police Safety Visitor
On Tuesday 22nd June 2010, our Stay and Play group had a visit from one of our local Police Community Support Officers (PCSO's), which linked in with Aylsham Children's Centre safety week.
We learnt lots about how we can stay safe, including what to wear if we are out at night time, what to do if we get lost and how to stay safe in the car. We also learnt about how the PCSO's stay safe when they are out doing their job, and how they safely direct the traffic if a road is closed.
Take a look at the photos of us dressing up in the PCSO's uniforms. We were amazed by all the protective clothing that they have to wear, and how many different reflective vests she has to carry with her at all times. Also, we were very shocked by how heavy their stab vests are. Miss Green tried the whole uniform on but we thought she looked a little silly. We didn't tell her that though!
