Shine Day

In February, Erpingham completed a day of out-of-curriculum activities. The children chose between four different activities - based around Egyptian maths and science, shelter building, multi-skills P.E and Egyptian clay work. The children stayed in these groups for the whole day, and were given the opportunity to complete a longer task.The concept of the Shine Day is to allow children to 'shine' at something they are good at, but may not get the opportunity to 'shine' in these skills during the normal classroom activities. The day was a great success and we are looking to completing our next Shine Day as a part of our upcoming Family Learning Day.
