Strangers Hall - Toys
During the first half of the Autumn Term, Amazon Class looked at the topic of Toys. We studied toys that children would have played with during the Victorian times and contrasted them to the types of toys that we play with today. We looked at the materials that were used to make the toys and learnt that plastic is a new material for toys whereas in the Victorian times wood and metal would have been used.
In order to extend our learning, we visited Strangers Hall Museum in Norwich. We had a lovely day looking at the old toys and had great fun making our old moving acrobat. Please look at the pictures below.
