Tour of Britain and the 'Tour of Erpingham'
Every year hundreds of cyclists take part in the Tour of Britain. This year, we were very lucky as the tour came to Norfolk. Erpingham Primary School was able to take all of the children to witness the cyclists racing through Blickling. We were all so inspired that we took part in our own 'Tour of Erpingham' led by two of our local police force.
Below is a report written by Misha (aged 5) about the events.
Tour of Britain:
The Tour of Britain is where you see loads and loads of bikes. A policeman on a big motorbike said to us "hello, which way did they go?" It was really funny because we told him they had gone the wrong way!
Tour of Erpingham:
At the Tour of Erpingham it was like the Tour of Britain. We rode on our bikes from school to the village hall for a drink and then we came back to school.
It's fun doing trips because you get to learn loads and loads of different things. We are so lucky because we are quite a small school. If we were bigger we would not be able to do things like the Tour of Erpingham because there would be too many children.
